Model portfolio

I think it's not necessary to explain why models need a portfolio.

But what kind of portfolio does she (he) need? What kind of images and style? How many photos?

The professional model has at least 15 good photos in the portfolio:

3-4 simple polaroids or with simple makeup and style - to show what exactly the model looks like;

some tests - how the model works in front of the camera, and some with different style, makeup, and posing. 

It's good if the model has editorials.

And different models need different styles of photos - high fashion model or commercial model? 

For kids it's necessary to update the portfolio at least once a year - they are growing and changing.

If you changed your hairstyle, body shape, or something else - you need new photos in your portfolio.

Believe me, if you just finished a model course or did your first photoshoot - it's just a start. You need to work a lot to be seen. And good images in your portfolio show that you're PRO and you have experience. It's your tool - if you invest in a good tool, you'll get a better job!
